Truck Trailer Twist Lock For Shipping Containers – Tilt Tray Short Handle
This trailer twistlock is for use in a tilt tray truck bed when the tray is tilted and the twist lock needs to be lowered while the container is still on the truck.
The twist lock needs to stay locked with the container corner block but also allow for the changing angle of the tilt tray bed during unloading and loading.
Our trailer twistlock features a spring-loaded plate that allows the pin to slide up within the lock while still keeping the container firmly attached.
When tilt tray returns to level, the twist lock pin automatically re-engages.
This mechanism allows the shipping container to stay fastened securely during the tilting process giving a smooth unloading and loading of containers from the tilt tray.

This twist lock has manual and semi-automatic modes for unlocking and re-locking during tilting.
